BRAND:
Tour Master and Cortech are the same company. Tour Master is a brand oriented
primarily to the cruiser rider. Tour Master offers a wide selection of high
quality luggage, touring jackets, touring boots and touring pants for both men
and women. Cortech is for the Sport and Sport Touring rider. The Cortech line
offers a higher level of protection and a sporty look. The jackets are tapered,
the pants fit snug and the gloves are typically full gauntlet with extensive
hard padding. The Cortech line of sport bike luggage is unique and offers form
fitting tank, tail and saddle bags for sportbikes and sport tourers.
SELECTION:
Tour Master has a wide selection of leather motorcycle jackets, textile
motorcycle jackets, motorcycle gloves, motorcycle pants, motorcycle boots and
motorcycle luggage. The selections are more conservative in styling and coloring
with quite a few solid color jackets or jackets with one or two color
combinations. The pants are only available in black and flat black while the
boots are only black. The Tour Master gloves are only black and silver for men
with light blue and pink additional colors for women. Cortech has a wide
selection of both leather and textile motorcycle jackets but in more vibrant
colors and designs oriented toward SportBike riders. Check out the leather
Python jacket if you are into snake skin. The pants are only in black while
Cortech does not offer any high performance motorcycle boots for SportBikes. The
gloves and luggage are more aggressive in styling and come in a wide selection
of bright colors.
FIT:
Tour Master fits loosely compared to the Cortech brand since it is oriented
towards cruiser riding. The jackets, pants, gloves and boots fit true to size on
Tour Master. The Cortech brand fits a little more snug but is generally true to
size so purchase your normal size in these items.
PERFORMANCE: Tour Master and Cortech make very high quality gear for the
price. They do not manufacture a huge volume so their quality control is very
strict. The goal of Tour Master and Cortech is definitely high performance and
their products should last a very long time and endure a lot of use.
RETURN
RATE: We do not get returns on Tour Master or Cortech. If we do get a
return it is always for a sizing exchange. Everyone that purchases their
products are satisfied and we never get warranty returns due to defective items.
OUR
RECOMMENDATION: We highly recommend the Tour Master and Cortech brands.
Especially if you like a solid conservative brand then Tour Master is your
choice. Cortech has just taken a radical approach to their SportBike gear so if
you want to be different then go with Cortech. Either way, you are getting some
good quality gear for your money.
